Dynamic Contemporary Artist,
RAWc stands for RAW Creativity! As such, RAWc Studio is a place where raw creativity, childlike curiosity and skill development exist simultaneously. Lisa Golem founded the studio in Kitchener both as her personal art & music studios as well as a place to mentor others who desire to create in a climate of freedom, encouragement and experimentation.
Lisa's style of contemporary art evokes emotion using vivid colour palettes, movement and flow. Her work is sometimes textured, sometimes smooth... sometimes warm, sometimes cool; but it is always intuitive, transcendent and wildly spiritual.
Much of the original artwork here is available for purchase and can be shipped to you; contact Lisa to ask about commissioned original works. Limited edition prints and various mounting options are also available.
Lisa also very much enjoys teaching step-by-step paint pARTies for private groups of 5-50 participants, as well as public paint pARTies in Cambridge. To book a private paint pARTy, just contact her with your date, number of people and the painting you like, and she will set it up for you. No matter what your level of experience painting, Lisa will help you leave the event with a painting you will be proud of! See "Paint pARTies" tab for more information.
Lisa is also available to teach private lessons with students from beginner to advanced--arranged on a one-on-one basis. You will learn how to let go and allow the spontaneous and the spiritual to naturally flow as you create. As a trained therapist turned artist, Lisa understands how to motivate, inspire and encourage you to expand your artistic boundaries and find your own unique creative voice.
RAWc Studio is also home to a rehearsal/performance space that accommodates writing groups, songwriting workshops and coffee houses from time to time. The space is available to rent for musicians/bands who need a dedicated weekly location for rehearsals.
